Machine pieced and machine quilted.

This star log cabin sparkles with yellow marble and dyed fabrics. The fabrics are only a quarter of an inch wide to create the star points. 16 Log Cabin blocks were sewn using a foundation to stabilize the small fabric pieces. Using yellow is challenging and I picked a blue violet for the border to soften the intensity of the shining star.
