Pink Vision marble quilt features modern log cabin pattern, marble and dyed fabrics.

**Pink Vision**

30" x 30" 2003 Private Collection 100% cotton fabrics, batting and back. Hand dyed cottons with hand marble cotton fabrics. Machine pieced and machine quilted.
This modern log cabin quilt design succeeds by varying the colors and width of the pieced fabrics. A grid is formed with small red centers and a stronger over-grid created with solid color fabrics. The soft marble fabrics in the background balance the strong solid colors. Many of the fabrics are only three-sixteenths of an inch wide (5 mm). This quilt was pieced using my log cabin pattern with a cotton fabric for the foundation.
